D.C.-area airports are setting impressive numbers lately when it comes to passenger counts and more. January through November of 2015 saw Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) beating the passenger counts of the year before. In just the month of November, 1.94 million travelers passed through the airport, making for a 14.1 percent increase from the previous year. In all, a total of 20.8 million people traveled through DCA between January and November. This total shows passenger counts rising 11.6 percent from 2014. Because of this, DCA has now had record amounts of passengers flying into and out of the busy airport for six straight years.
