From RestonNow: Food Truck Thursday has returned to Reston Town Center. The vendors will park at Reston Town Square Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the first Thursday of the month through the summer and early fall.
According to WalletHub, Reston residents excel at managing their money. So much in fact that they are the fourth Virginia city on the list that was the result of the website’s study, “2016’s Best & Worst Cities at Money Management.” Reston comes in at #122 out of 2,750 cities, or in the top 95th percentile.
The Walker Nature Center will host a “Parents’ Night Out” from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 12 so parents can get a head-start on their Valentine’s Day celebration. Kids will play nature games and go on a night hike (weather permitting), design a special clay Valentine, make a red treat and watch classic cartoons.

Of interest: Joe Grooming is now PR Barbers. Located at Reston Town Center (11944 Market St.), the storefront used the short rental time to try out a brick-and-mortar storefront for its typically online-only business. The store will be operated by Reg Laws, one of the owners of PR at Partners Salons. A second men’s salon, Roosters, is slated to open just a few doors down at 11990 Market St.

A new development dubbed “Lincoln at Commerce Park” (Sunrise Valley Dr. & Association Dr.) will feature 260 multi-family residential units
A 75,000-square-foot office building at 1831 Wiehle Ave. will be converted into a mixed-use building with 504 multi-family residential units and up to 61,000-square-feet of retail.
Located at the spot of the former Reston Mini-Storage and a commercial strip in the 11400 block of Sunset Hills Road, the site will house a 421-unit apartment building with 10,000-square-feet of ground-floor retail.
