Ever the Curious George, I searched for the five most expensive homes currently on the market in Reston. Here’s what more than $1 million will buy you just east of Dulles Airport.
1830 Fountain Drive, #1505 — This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom penthouse condo at Paramont is listed at $1,549,900. With 3,000 square feet, the unit offers panoramic views, floor-to-ceiling windows and hardwood floors throughout, and comes with three parking spaces and a storage unit. The condo fees are $1,178/month.
11250 Center Harbor Road is a single family home with 6 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms and 2 half-bathrooms spread over 6,939 square feet. A custom home built in 1990, it features hardwood floors, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, a butler’s pantry, large master suite with en-suite study, pool and pool house, 4 fireplaces, a half basketball court and sits on one acre of land. Listed at $1,398,000, with $640 HOA fees annually.
Located in the Estates At Wyndham Hills, 11308 Stones Throw Drive is a 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home on 0.58 acre. The home sits on 0.58 acres. Listed at $1,299,000, with $644 HOA fees annually.
Finally, 11990 Market St., #502 is listed at $1,249,500 and located in the Midtown at Reston Town Center hi-rise. The 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo has 2,111 square feet, refinished Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, a master suite with sitting room, kitchen with Viking range and wine fridge, tiled master bathroom, two parking spaces and a storage unit. The condo fees are $1,137.90/month.

Oatlands Historic House & Gardens hosts Contemplative Yoga from 9:30 to 11 a.m. the first Saturday of every month in the 1810 greenhouse or the garden. Each session will include asana (postures), yoga nidra (deep relaxation), pranayama (breathing) and meditation (seated or walking) including a meditative walk in the historic garden. Contemplative Yoga will focus on the essence of Yoga: the complete practice of the Eight-Fold Path in order that we may be more fully awake and engaged in our everyday lives.
Upcoming classes will be March 6, April 3, May 8, June 5, July 3, Aug. 7, Sept. 4, Oct. 2, Nov. 6 and Dec. 4. A $25 cash donation is requested, with 40 percent of the proceeds benefiting Oatlands.
